My role involved writing in-depth features and shorter blogs for three B2B websites and five digital magazines. I covered news, trends and analysis on renewable energy, mining, oil, gas and nuclear industries. Day-to-day I conducted interviews with policymakers, scientists, analysts, human rights and environmental groups. I networked at events and keep up to date with news, policy changes and scientific developments happening in these industries, as well as contributed to weekly planning meetings.

I had a brief stint working in the marketing department of New Statesman magazine from March 2012 to September 2012. After which I became an online contributor to the business section of the New Statesman website, writing thrice weekly blogs on the biggest business news stories of the week, as well as longer blogs on energy and business issues.

At Matchbox Magazine (later re-launched as www.cornermag.com) I wrote, commissioned and edited all content for the then newly launched website, which was designed to complement the print magazine. In this role I conducted regular interviews with top chefs, local entrepreneurs and artists, hired and managed an intern, contributed to meetings and made sure the website stayed on brand and linked with the magazine. The company liquidated and that is why I left.

During my internships at http://www.closeronline.co.uk I wrote daily celebrity news stories and weekly articles on health, diet and beauty issues. I managed all social network outlets, increasing Facebook users from 60 to 3,500-plus. I also regularly interviewed celebrities as well as quote gathered at red carpet events.
