As well as writing about oil and gas, mining and power generation in my day job, I’m now a freelance writer on future-technology magazine Factor.

Factor is a website and digital magazine covering the latest developments in technology, science and beyond, with a focus on the future. The editors are particularly interested in how innovations are set to change the way we live, and what our lives are likely to be like in the future.

In my first feature for the magazine I write about how virtual reality technology will become an everyday technology with the likes of Facebook investing heavily in the technology.
